The craft

Slow, because there is no other way

Crochet cannot be sped up. Each stitch is pulled through the one before it, by hand, which is why a single bag takes days to make.

We turn cotton fabric into a soft, durable yarn and build contemporary forms through the traditional technique of crochet. From choosing the material to the last loop, every step is done carefully and by hand, which is why each bag carries the character of the craft along with the uniqueness of handmade work.

Questions

Before you order

How do I order a bag?

Add a piece to the cart, leave your delivery details and send the order. You get a confirmation email with your order number straight away. Anyka then confirms availability and shipping cost, packs the bag and sends it.

How do I pay?

Inside Serbia you pay the courier in cash when the parcel arrives. Card payment through the site is not available yet, and nothing is charged upfront.

For orders outside Serbia, Anyka writes back with the shipping cost and how to pay before the parcel leaves.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Anyka ships from Serbia anywhere in the world. The cost depends on the destination and is confirmed before the parcel leaves.

What are the bags made of?

Every bag is crocheted by hand from cotton yarn, from the first stitch to the last knot. Most models have a sewn lining inside, and the Tria models have a cotton drawstring pouch that closes.

Material, dimensions and details are listed with each piece in the collections.

How much do they cost?

From 6,000 to 7,100 RSD, roughly 52 to 60 EUR. The price depends on the model and its size, and the exact amount is listed with each piece.

Shipping is charged separately and Anyka confirms it in her reply, as it depends on the destination.

Is every bag one of a kind?

Every bag is crocheted by hand from start to finish, so no two turn out exactly the same. Small shifts in tension and colour placement are part of the work.

How do I care for it?

Your Anyka bag is carefully handcrafted with love, and a little gentle care will help it stay beautiful for years to come.

Daily care and storage

  • If your bag has longer straps or ties, you can carefully adjust or shorten them to your preferred length.
  • For additional protection of the material, you can use a gentle universal waterproofing spray.
  • Store your bag flat or upright whenever possible, and avoid hanging it for long periods of time to prevent stretching.
  • Keep it away from direct sunlight to help preserve its colour.

Washing is not recommended, but if necessary:

Hand washing, the recommended option

  • Gently wash in cold water, up to 30 °C, using a mild detergent.
  • Lightly clean the surface and rinse thoroughly.
  • Do not soak the bag for a long time, scrub harshly, twist, or use bleach.

Machine washing, only if necessary

Machine washing is not recommended, as it may affect the shape and texture of the bag.

Drying

  • Do not wring the bag.
  • Gently remove excess water using a towel, reshape the bag, and leave it to dry flat, away from direct heat and sunlight.
